浅井ローケツは天然灰汁発酵建藍染による本藍染を専門とする染織工房です。

京都の地で天然藍と向き合いながら、その奥深い色彩と可能性を追求し続けています。

古くから受け継がれてきた伝統技法を大切にしながらも現代の暮らしや感性に寄り添うものづくりを目指し、本藍染によるロウケツ染や絞り染など様々な染織技法を用いて制作を行っています。

布だけでなく革製品にも本藍染を施し、一つひとつ手仕事ならではの表情豊かな作品を生み出しています。

藍が持つ深く美しい色彩と、豊かな風合いを通して、日本の伝統文化を未来へ、そして世界へとつないでいきます。

Asai Roketsu is a dye studio specializing in traditional Japanese indigo dyeing using natural indigo fermented with wood ash lye.

Based in Kyoto, we work closely with natural indigo, continually exploring the depth, beauty, and potential of its rich blue hues.

While honoring traditional dyeing techniques that have been passed down through generations, we create works that resonate with contemporary lifestyles and aesthetics.

Using a variety of techniques, including wax-resist dyeing (Roketsu-zome) and shibori tie-dyeing, we craft unique pieces dyed with natural indigo.

Our work extends beyond textiles to leather goods, each piece carefully handcrafted to reveal its own distinctive character and expression.

Through the deep, beautiful colors and rich textures of indigo, we strive to carry Japanese traditional culture into the future and share it with the world.
